As part of the Climate Action Symposium, international participants will have the unique opportunity to embark on a field visit to the Climate Resilient Integrated Water Management Project (CRIWMP) sites. This visit will provide firsthand insights into Sri Lanka’s innovative approaches to climate resilience, sustainable water management, and community-driven adaptation strategies.

• Dates and Locations: The field visit is tentatively scheduled for 23rd & 24th August 2025, with visits to the CRIWMP Sites. Finalized details, including the itinerary and transportation arrangements, will be shared closer to the event.
• What to Expect: Participants will witness the impacts of the innovative solutions implemented by the project to ensure climate resilience, interact with local communities, and learn about the project’s impact on enhancing water security and livelihoods.
• Attire and Preparation: Comfortable, casual clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended, as the visit may involve walking through rural and semi-urban areas. Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle.
